About the Library

The Library of St. Xavier's Technical Institute is a central intellectual resource used by students and staff alike for reading, reference, and project work. It provides a wide range of materials including dictionaries, encyclopedias, data books, periodicals and syllabi-recommended text books.

Library Circulation includes the text books as per syllabus recommended for D.E.T.E. The library is fully computerised, consistently working towards enriching its collection with new titles aligned to the evolving diploma engineering curriculum.

"An immense reservoir of information and learning sources — providing constant value addition to students and faculty alike."

The entire collection of books is readily available to students and teachers either for current reading in the library or for home issue at the circulation counter. Library automation and computerisation is managed through dedicated library management software.
